Mustard Seeds

Doogie had to make a video around a silly song for his video production class, so he recruited his sisters to star in it, and this is the finished product. I think it's fantastic. If you like it, please leave a comment; he'd be very happy to hear that someone other than family enjoyed it.

Mustard Seeds by Lynn Coulter is a wonderfully uplifting devotional about finding little things that can help your faith to grow. Coulter suffered from a horrifying number of tragedies and frustrations in a short period of time: her husband lost several jobs and then moved hundreds of miles away to take a new one. Her mother passed away unexpectedly, and her father began to fail with the heartbreak of it. Coulter shattered her shoulder, and the events nearly shattered her faith as well. She uses each chapter to encourage your faith in God to grow, like that of a tiny mustard seed. Jesus said that if we only had as much faith as the size of a mustard seed we could move mountains. Coulter uses hers to move the mountains of doubt, anger, grief, and pain and return to the God who never left her. Her honesty is refreshing, like a cool drink of water. I enjoyed spending time every day with Coulter.

I'll have another video up on Wednesday: Doogie's interpretation of Queen's Fat Bottomed Girls.
